First in Russia Hybrid IPTV/OTT Deployment with Netris

Technical Center of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Sakha Republic (Russian Federation) is ready to provide IPTV and OTT services based on Netris End-to-End Solution.

Netris, the leading Russian developer in IP communications and digital TV, and Technical Center of Television and Radio Broadcasting (TCTR), the main operator for television and radio broadcasting in Sakha Republic (Russian Federation), announce the launch of hybrid IPTV/OTT platform. The deployed solution allows to provide a wide range of digital TV services, both within the operator’s network and over the Internet to various user terminals: STBs, personal and tablet computers, mobile phones.

Thanks to Netris cutting edge solution users have an opportunity to watch high quality TV channels, record any TV show to a hard disk connected to the STB via USB, control viewing, set reminders, and more. Also the list of operator’s services contains six internet channels, including CCTV broadcasting, the national TV channel of Sakha Republic and its own promo channel based on the multi-functional Netris iStream Video Platform. The content is available both to IPTV subscribers and to any Internet users.

We have great plans for the development, including creating a special internet channel to present the sights of the republic and to attract tourists to our region”.
